Frequently Asked Questions

When & where is the Silver Homecoming of SPCP HS Batch 1995

SPCP HS Batch 1995 will be hosting the Grand Alumnae Homecoming of SPCP on January 4, 2020 to be held at SPCP. This will also coincide with the celebration of silver jubilee of SPCP HS Batch 1995.

What does it mean to be the host of the Grand Alumnae Homecoming?

For about ten years now a tradition was started where the batch celebrating their silver jubilee hosts the grand alumnae homecoming. The venue is provided by the school, but all other expenses — food, program, styling, etc — are shouldered by host batch. Also, as part of commemorating this milestone, the silver jubilarians also make a donation to SPCP and to associated community partners.

Who are the beneficiaries of SPCP Batch 1995 silver jubilee?

SPCP Batch 1995 are raising funds to give to SPCP for their SPACE program, to the Father Louis Chauvet Foundation school, Saint Paul College, Pasig Alumnae Association Financial Assistance Program and to the Mere Anne di Tilly program of SPCP. In addition to these beneficiaries, due to the overwhelming feedback of our batch to have a sustainable batch fund where the batch can give some type of monetary donation to our batch mates who may in need of some assistance.

How will the money raised be spent?

There are three main buckets on how the funds will be spent – donation to the beneficiaries, hosting the evening’s festivities on January 4, 2020 and having a batch fund.

Will the money be divided equally between the three main buckets?

The money raised will not be divided equally. The biggest allocation will go to the donations to the beneficiaries then to hosting to the event and then if there are any funds leftover to the batch fund.

How much money do we currently have?

Due to security reasons we cannot broadcast here how much money we have raised. However, if you message us we will get back to you with the answer.

Are we anywhere close in achieving our target amount?

The answer is no! That is why we need your help in raising money.

Is there a required minimum donation for each member of the graduating batch of SPCP HS Batch 1995?

There is no required donation. We want those who give to give from their hearts and not be forced to do it.

Will I be turned away if I didn't support the fundraising and showed up on homecoming night?

All graduating members of SPCP HS Batch 1995 are welcome (and so are the the SPCP alumnae). You will not be turned away because you didn’t support the fundraising efforts.

How can I support the fundraising efforts?

The organizers have a variety of ways you can support the fundraising efforts for our silver jubilee. You can choose one item on the list or do as many as your heart desires.

– Volunteer at live events

– Purchase silver jubilee memorabilia (aka merch)

– Organize a fundraising event (for example garage sale, bake sale, etc.)

– Place and/or solicit ads for the homecoming magazine

– Be a sponsor or solicit sponsors

– Give a direct donation

Since there is no minimum requirement to support the fundraising for the homecoming, why should I help?

It is purely voluntary to participate in the homecoming celebrations. We depend on kind & giving batch mates to make this occasion happen. The organizers are also planning a surprise gift to those batch mates who supported the fundraising through volunteering, in-kind donations and monetary donations.

Oh, no! I won't be able to attend the reunion. How can I still be part of the celebration?

Are you really, really, really sure you can’t attend? We would love to have as many of us be present during the celebration. However, if you are unable to attend we still want you to be part of the celebration. Follow us on social media (Facebook and Instagram). Links are on the right side of the page. We also have several homecoming merchandises to commemorate the event.
